Jonathan Flynn joined Hitachi Vantara Federal in 2014 and currently serves as the Director of Engineering. In his role, Jonathan oversees the organizations’ solution consultant team, while bringing over 30 years of both IT and OT industry experience. As a trusted advisor, Jonathan’s expertise is in data driven solutions, bridging conversations between modern storage infrastructure, converged infrastructure, intelligent content platforms, hybrid cloud, data protection, data analytics, AI Platforms, and IoT.
Prior to joining Hitachi Federal, Jonathan worked as a Product Specialist overlay to Hitachi Vantara’s America’s Eastern Region. Jonathan has over 13 years of IT and Industrial Automation background with Schnieder Electric, integrating and managing IT solutions globally.
Jonathan obtained his Master in Science in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University, as well as his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Keene State College. Jonathan is certified in Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and Business Analytics (BA), as well as several network security certifications.
In his free time, Jonathan participates in a variety of outdoor events such as Swim with a Mission and Hidden Battles Foundation’s 22 for the 22 Ruck in support of our Veterans.
